PIR sensors
Sensors
PIR sensors
PIR motion sensors work by detecting temperature differences when an object enters their detection range.
Optimal sensors
PIR sensors help to reduce light pollution in the complete lighting system, improve safety and increase operational efficiency.
Description
The PIR motion sensors are based on passive infrared technology. Movements are detected by infrared rays. If an object moves within the sensor's detection range and its temperature differs from the ambient temperature by more than 4°C, the sensor reacts.
Functions:
- High sensitivity up to 12 m
- Compact size: 11 x 11 x 20 mm or 22 x 22 x 25 mm
- Low power consumption
Advantages
The PIR motion sensor offers reliable motion detection, low energy consumption, cost-effective operating costs, adaptability to different applications and increased security.
